surveying group is led by a team of Professional Land Surveyors and Professional Engineers
who specialize in modern surveying technologies with an absolute commitment
to applying the most relevant technology available to any given project.
Our management's vast experience in "end user" needs allows
for a unique understanding of our client's data collection needs.
The group is focused on incorporating modern computer and measurement technology into traditional and non-traditional engineering, environmental, site management, and surveying projects. With extensive experience in complete digital data management, the surveying group has the ability to translate project efficiencies into project cost savings by creating an organized data set for use in the analysis, design, presentation, and management phases of a project.
Complete
land surveying capabilities are available, including digital data collection
with total stations, electronic data collectors, and break-line technology
for use with Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM). State-of-the-art Global Positioning
System (GPS) equipment (Trimble 4400 RTK & Trimble Pathfinder) is
owned and utilized as appropriate to increase project efficiencies. Data
is reduced and processed utilizing the following software packages: AutoCAD®,
ArcView®, ArcCAD®, Softdesk®, Eagle Point®, Pfinder®
by Trimble, and GPSurvey® by Trimble.
Cardinal Engineering's survey group also provides "turn-key"
data collection and data conversion for use in Geographic Information
Systems (GIS). We specialize in site-specific data generation and custom
GIS project development at environmentally sensitive sites. We can provide
HAZWOPER certified land surveyors and field crews.
